Refund Policy

Refunds

Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your proposal date. This deposit is used immediately to reserve vendor availability, including photographers, florists, venues, and other service providers. As vendors block their calendars upon booking and may turn away other clients, the deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

For Premium and Luxury packages, the booking deposit structure is as follows:

  • 30% at booking (non-refundable)

  • 40% within 30 days of booking (non-refundable once paid)

  • 30% balance due 15 days before the proposal date (non-refundable)

For Basic and Standard packages:

  • 50% at booking (non-refundable)

  • 50% balance due 15 days before the proposal date (non-refundable)

Cancellations

Any cancellation made within 14 days of the scheduled proposal date will result in a forfeiture of 100% of all payments made to date. At this stage, vendors have already confirmed availability, blocked their calendars, and in the case of florists, may have already purchased or ordered flowers and materials specific to your event. Rome Proposals assumes no liability for vendor costs incurred prior to cancellation.

Date changes requested within 30 days of the original proposal date are subject to vendor availability and may incur additional fees. Rome Proposals will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability.

Deposits

Certain services — including but not limited to venue reservations, floral arrangements, and photography bookings — require Rome Proposals to pay non-refundable deposits to third-party vendors on behalf of the client. In the event of cancellation, these vendor deposits are not recoverable and will not be refunded to the client regardless of the timing of the cancellation.
